Terms of Use

Last updated 11 October 2026

These Terms of Use cover your use of collect3r (the website at collect3r.app and the collect3r iOS app).

The service

collect3r lets you catalog physical music releases you own or want, and optionally share parts of that catalog on a public profile page.

The service is provided for personal, non-commercial use. It may change, break, or go offline without notice.

Accounts

You sign in with Awth. You must use an Awth account you own or control. Awth has its own terms for identity, email codes, and passkeys.

You are responsible for activity under your collect3r session on devices where you stay signed in.

Your content

You are responsible for notes, username choices, and whether your collection or wishlist is public. Do not post content you do not have the right to share, and do not use public profiles to harass others.

Catalog data

Release information comes from MusicBrainz and cover images from the Cover Art Archive (and related community sources). collect3r does not guarantee that catalog data is complete, accurate, or available.

Please respect those projects’ terms and rate limits. Do not abuse the collect3r API (for example automated bulk scraping beyond normal app use).

Availability and disclaimer

collect3r is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the extent allowed by law. We are not liable for lost data, downtime, or decisions you make based on catalog information — though we will try to keep things working for personal use.

Ending use

You can stop using the app at any time and delete your collect3r account in Settings. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with an updated date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These pages describe how collect3r works today. They are not a substitute for legal advice.
